Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
ARE YOU 18+ AND INTERESTED IN BECOMING CATHOLIC?
Were you baptized Catholic but now want to celebrate First Communion and Confirmation? The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a ministry for those interested in becoming Catholic and for those who want to receive First Communion and Confirmation. Candidates participate in Mass every Sunday. In addition to Mass every Sunday, candidates meet to learn about the Catholic faith. A team of parishioners present the beliefs of Catholicism. If you are interested in prayerfully discovering God’s calling in your life and meeting members of St. Elizabeth’s parish, then call our Faith Formation Office at 631-271-4455 ext. 308 to speak to John Fruner, our DRE about the process or email him at faithformation@stelizabeth.org.
ADULT CONFIRMATION
If you are 18 or older and have celebrated BOTH Baptism and your First Communion in the Roman Catholic Church, then this is for you! Life happens and sometimes being Confirmed in your high school years doesn’t work out. Well now it’s time! Once a week, adult Confirmation candidates meet to learn about the Catholic faith with a team of parishioners who present different beliefs of Catholicism. If you are interested, then call our Faith Formation Office at 631-271-4455 Ext. 308 to speak to John Fruner, our DRE, about the process. You can also email him at faithformation@stelizabeth.org.
