Religious Education 1st – 6th Grade

Each student will receive a religion book that must be carried to class and then carried home.  Due to the Covid-19 virus, no books can be kept in the Parish Center.

Additionally, each student will need to bring supplies for Parish Center classes.  Due to Covid-19, supplies can no longer be shared.

Each K-5 student now needs to bring these supplies for every Parish Center class.

1 large Elmer’s All Purpose Glue Stick (.77 oz)

1 Elmer’s Glue All (4 oz)

1 box of crayons (16 per box – no larger)

2 sharpened pencils (no sharpeners allowed; please sharpen at home; no mechanical pencils)

Blunt edge scissors

A soft, zippered pencil case with above supplies inside (no boxes)

Each 6th grade student needs to bring a pen along with their Religion book for every Parish Center class.

To complete work in Google Classroom and to get the appropriate credit, St. Elizabeth’s Faith Formation Program will provide emails to use with Google Classroom.

St. Elizabeth’s Faith Formation Program requires attendance at Sunday Mass. Every lesson builds upon the experience of actively and fully participating in Sunday Mass every week. It is very confusing and counterproductive when a child is taught a mixed message: we are Catholic and Catholics participate at Sunday Mass, but our family doesn’t. The Mass is “the source and summit of the Christian life” and as so we must be faithful to Jesus’ command to “do this in memory of me.” At the baptism of your child, you accepted the responsibility of training them in the practice of the faith and to bring them up to keep God’s commandments. As followers of Jesus, therefore, you are called to make Sunday Mass a priority in your family life. Mass is your excuse for missing everything else!
